Grimm Pictures is a fast-rising boutique motion picture company — fiercely connected, studio-precise, and built for the long game. Based in Northern Ireland with branches in Ireland and a finance partner in the US, we operate with the discipline of the majors and the creative conviction of a company that knows exactly who it is.
The joy is in the telling. That joy is precisely why we are so meticulous — every frame prevized, every lens chosen, every actor considered with obsessive care. We shoot on the same cameras and from the same suppliers as the studios, because the story deserves nothing less. When you love what you're making, corners don't get cut.
The story leads. Always. We only accept scripts rated Recommend or Strongly Recommend — 7.5 out of 10 or above, placing in the 85th percentile or higher within their prospective genre. Most submissions don't reach that bar. We are unapologetically strict, because the material is the foundation everything else is built on.
We are deeply artist-friendly. Before a camera rolls, we invest significant time and effort in preparation — exploring the tone, the timbre, the soul of the narrative. We give our collaborators the space to discover what the story truly wants to be, and we protect that discovery through every stage of production.
We make films for people, not for politics. Our stories are rooted in oneness — in the shared experiences, the matters of the heart, the universal emotions that cross every border and speak to every soul.
